:: ABOUT NANOWRIMO ::
National Novel Writing Month takes place every year between November 1st - 30th. The goal is to write 50.000 words by midnight on November 30. It usually takes up a lot of time and energy, and 50% of the novel is pure crap. Luckily it's the final wordcount that matters, not the quality of the writing. |

:: MY PARTICIPATION & RESULT ::
I first participated in 2004, which resulted in some of the best work I've ever done. In 2005 I wrote 50.000 words that made no sense at all. In 2006 I forfeited before I even wrote one word, even though I'd planned a storyline and was really excited about my idea. 2007 ended in a real success with one finished story by the middle of the month. Story number two reached almost 62 K within twelve days, with a final word count of over 100 K. Challenges: Words, actions, events, songs or names that I've been challanged to get into the story somehow.
